The points total in Prescot 101 is added up from times recorded for all of the Short Course events. Only swims in 25m pools count for this competition. The Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum times are those from the ASA Performance Awards
The points are awarded as follows:
| 1 point | Event swum with a valid time |
| 2 points | Swim with time achieving Bronze award |
| 3 points | Swim with time achieving Silver award |
| 4 points | Swim with time achieving Gold award |
| 5 points | Swim with time achieving Platinum* award |
| Not for 25m or 4x25m events |
The maximum possible score if all Gold (or Platinum where available) times are achieved is 101.
